Last Week, Sharon Cho, talented BFA Fashion Design student, was announced as the winner of the 2019 YOOXYGEN Award, during the Annual Parsons Graduate Exhibit.
Sharon impressed the judges with her harmony and coherence in blending fashion and sustainability in her thesis collection, and for the outstanding storytelling underlying it. After Ji Won Choi and Marissa Petteruti, she will be the third Parsons BFA Fashion Design student to join the YOOX NET-A-PORTER GROUP headquarters in Milan and offices in New York City on a six-months internship, during which she will work on creating and producing her first sustainable collection. The collection will be available exclusively on YOOXYGEN from early 2020.
The YOOXYGEN Award was launched in 2017, when YOOX announced its partnership with Parsons. This important collaboration recognizes the vital role of education in the future of sustainability in fashion and highlights YOOX and the Group’s ongoing support to talents.
