YOOX NET-A-PORTER GROUP is proud to be named a Times Top 50 Employer for Women today, in recognition for its commitment to empowering women, and breaking gender equality boundaries within the tech sphere.
The Times Top 50 Employers for Women is published in partnership with Business in the Community, the Prince’s Responsible Business Network, as part of the charity’s Responsible Business Week which runs from 23 to 28 April 2018.The alphabetical and unranked list celebrates UK employers that are building gender equality into their business strategy and have committed creating inclusive workplace cultures and women’s progression at work.
With a fast-growing female workforce, women now represent two-thirds of employees at YNAP; almost double the average in the tech sector. YNAP has long been dedicated to developing its position as a leading employer for women, be they in search of fashion or technology career paths. As such, one of the group’s three sustainability pillars is dedicated to Empowering Women which features a wide range of initiatives both within YNAP and in partnership with industry. Among them is YNAP’s Women in Tech programme, which notably offers our female talents social media forums, speaker events, mentoring and bespoke training to ensure their advancement in what remains a male-dominated environment.
We are delighted to receive this fantastic accolade, recognising our leading work on empowering women and our efforts to increase the representation of women in tech. We understand the opportunity we have to act as role models in our industry and beyond.
