NET-A-PORTER BEAUTY TURNS 5!
26 April 2018 – This week marks five years since the launch of the world’s first online store for luxury beauty, by NET-A-PORTER. Since sparking this new era of beauty ecommerce in 2013, NET-A-PORTER Beauty has evolved its assortment of luxury beauty and skincare products from an initial buy of 150 products to a now 2,000 plus curation. Representing one of the biggest global retailers for luxury beauty, NET-A-PORTER, in partnership with over 200 beauty brands, operates a personalized 24/7 service across 168 countries and to an audience of over six million customers.
To mark its 5th Anniversary, NET-A-PORTER Beauty has created some exclusive new products, in collaboration with 19 of its partner brands, including Vintner’s Daughter, Natura Bissé and IIISKIN. In parallel, NET-A-PORTER will also expand its range further, introducing new brands such as Lixir Skin, Rituel de Fille, Pursoma, Rene Furterer and Floriku.
Celebrations did not stop there however. Five years ago, launching luxury beauty online was unchartered territory and one that would not have grown into such success with the YOOX NET-A-PORTER GROUP teams. As a thank you, NET-A-PORTER Beauty has been pampering YNAP employees all week with some exclusive beauty treatments at our offices across the world; from facial treatments to brow bars, hair styling and makeovers. Teams were also treated to inspiring talks from beauty gurus, including the likes of Tata Harper, Founder of Tata Harper Skincare, Anita Kaushal co-founder of Mauli Rituals and the inspiring Elle Macpherson who sat down with Newby Hands, Beauty Director NET-A-PORTER, to share her beauty and nutrition tips with our London teams.
